
JCINothingButNets is a global campaign partnered by JCI and United Nations Foundation dedicated to save lives by preventing Malaria. Every 30 seconds, another person dies of Malaria. With the JCINothingButNets campaign, JCI members across the globe have committed to taking concrete action in their communities to fight this deadly disease.
World Malaria Day - which was instituted by the World Health Assembly at its 60th session in May 2007 - is a day for recognizing the global effort to provide effective control of malaria. Fight Malaria with the World on April 25. What are you going to do this Malaria Day?
JCI Australia has joined JCI in the fight against Malaria by participating in the JCINothingButNets program. JCI Australia recognises that by making a contribution in the fight against Malaria it not only saves a life of a person overseas but can make a real contribution and increase public awareness of serious mosquito to human transmitted diseases we have in our country such as Murray Valley Encephalitis and Ross River Fever.
