Where Did We Start?

The foundation was established in the early 2000s using proceeds from the sale of the Australian Jaycees' secretariat building.

How is The
Money Managed?

The principal is invested in several managed share portfolios and term deposits, with approximately 1/3 of dividend payments being distributed to JCI Australia each year. The remaining 2/3 of dividends are reinvested. The foundation keeps a cash reserve of 2-3 years' worth of JCI Australia's expenses as a risk management measure.
